THE ROLE
Reporting into the General Manager Community, the Community Services Manager is a key leadership role, responsible for managing a team of seven to effectively deliver community services and facilities through engagement and promotional activities. With a focus on organisational advancement and driving a contemporary community focussed agenda in the form of Asset Based Community Development, the Community Services Manager will provide innovative solutions into the development and growth of the City’s services to deliver on Council’s objectives for the benefit of the Palmerston community.
REQUIREMENTS
If you are an effective, honest and reliable people leader with community development or community services experience and strategic planning skills, we would be interested to hear from you. A well-organised and community-focussed individual with a flexible and innovative mindset will be the ideal skillset for this role. A relevant tertiary qualification and understanding of Asset Based Community Development is highly desirable.
THE PACKAGE
In return you will receive a competitive remuneration package of $130,000 to $140,000 plus superannuation, six weeks annual leave and three weeks personal leave, on an ongoing contract.
