About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior Planner to join our Adelaide team in South Australia, where we have recently been awarded the ANI Link Road project and an ECI with SA Water. This significant growth opportunity requires a highly skilled professional to manage and produce programs for civil engineering construction projects during the tender, delivery, and completion phases.
Key Accountabilities:
* Management and production of programs using project scope, design documentation, and project delivery strategies.
* Coordinate internal and external stakeholders' input to develop accurate project programs.
* Assigning plant, labor, and materials resources into project programs and producing histograms and s-curves to support project controls.
* Converting tender/bid program into contract master program.
* Development of the program management plan and supporting documentation.
* Manage time-risk and time-opportunities, responsible for project schedule risk analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and allocation of time contingency into master program.
* Regular site visits to record project progression.
* Progress updates and reporting on project programs with relevant stakeholders.
* Assist with identification and application of approved and non-approved changes to the program and analyze cause and effect from such changes.
Required Skills and Competencies
Skills and Capabilities We Are Looking For:
* Planning experience in construction/engineering environments.
* Ability to multi-task and demonstrate sound judgment, balancing competing priorities.
* In-depth knowledge of P6, project scheduling, and program logic networking.
* Demonstrable understanding of design engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning methodologies.
* Focus on communication and building working relationships.
* Strong problem-solving/analytics skills.
