Your functionWe are looking for a Retail Credit Analyst to join the team here at DLL! The purpose of the role is to process Equipment Finance credit applications for Retail Credit (primarily to AUD$1.5mln) vendor finance customers.Day to day Process Retail credit applications within time-based service level agreements.Apply sound risk analysis and policies in making credit recommendations and decisions, with a Delegated Credit Authority in accordance with level of experience.Undertake financial analysis and modelling.Liaise with internal Sales, Vendors, Dealers, Customers and other third parties to gather sufficient information to make a credit recommendation or decision.Make decisions within Delegated Credit Authority.Communicate credit decisions to stakeholders in a timely manner.Provide deal structuring options and advice in a proactive manner.Assist with other credit-related activities such as Dealer Portfolio Reviews.Respond to internal and external customer requests promptly and correctly.Confident, professional, and effective communication skills.Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Salespeople, Collectors, and Operations.Consultative approach to working with all stakeholders - team player.Share business and risk knowledge with other DLL members to build a culture of risk management balanced with commercial objectives.Typical KPIs:Degree of complete and actual informationQuality of analysis and credit application decisions% of applications processed within agreed timeframes% of on-time and correct reviews and re-ratingsRisk analysis accuracyQuality of adviceCompliance with policies, mandates and regulationsAll members enjoy:Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.Health and Wellness program including healthy food, free health checks, fun health & vitality activities.Flexible hours with possibility to work from homeCareer development opportunities: online learning, member development programs.Your ProfileDegree or studies in accounting, finance, commerce or related field - may have completed, or still studying on a part-time basis.Experience working in an Equipment Finance Credit or similar environment would be an advantage, but not essential.Vendor / Dealer Equipment Finance experience is preferable, but not essential.Experience in credit application processing and evaluation in a Vendor Finance or commercial equipment finance setting would be an advantage, but not essential.Understand the differences between customer types, and be able to apply that knowledge accordingly.This is an Entry Level position to Credit, so training will be provided to gain risk analysis skills.Basic understanding of the equipment finances legal framework, including the purpose of equipment finance / contractual documentation.Knowledge of financial statements and cash flow analysis.Understanding of, and ability to apply Basel II risk principles.Ability to prioritise and perform multiple tasks on an interrupted basis.Good to knowThe selection process may involve an assessment.Applications via email will not be reviewed.
