It's what we do best. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated, results-driven and innovative Event Manager to join our team. Based at our Ipswich location in Queensland, the ideal candidate will effectively manage and lead the daily activities of a team of Sales Advisors (Product Demonstrators). As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for: Manage and lead the daily activities of Sales Advisors (Product Demonstrators) to prepare products and interact with customersTrain, coach, mentor and guide your team to ensure engagement with successful product vendor events Instructing and providing oversight to events/product demonstrations and executing all events with established qualitySet and maintain Food Safety and Sanitation Standards, and ensure workplace safety for all associatesIdentify and participate in the recruitment and hiring processUtilise progressive coaching and counselling concepts according to established policies and procedures, to provide continuous feedback on performance, increase employee retention and improve employee relationsInteract with store management and associates to address issues and review resultsCreate, establish and maintain solid upper management relationships with the management and customers throughout buying, marketing and store operationsConduct accident investigation as per company guidelines and document findingsParticipate in Club Store grand openings and travel as requiredPromoting and selling vendor products in accordance with established policies and proceduresEnsuring the member services are maintained at a high level About You: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory position in Event Management, Retail and/or Hospitality, or a related field.Must be able to work Tuesday – Saturday, with flexibility around the days if the need arises. Customer Service and Sales Experience: Proven experience in a customer service or sales focused role. Strong leadership: Ability to train, coach, mentor and guide a team Excellent communication skills: Effective communication with customers, internal/external stakeholders and management is critical to success in this role. Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with high tolerance to change (as we are a global business we are always evolving and growing)Organisational and Time Management: Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively during events/demonstrationsProblem-Solving skills: Ability to think critically, take responsibility and solve problems efficientlyA genuine, role-related passion and positive attitude is essential Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and policies Proficiency in computer operations and MS Office applications and exposure to online work systems Successful completion of food safety supervisor certificate.
