Job Summary We're seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join our dynamic team and drive transformative change for our clients.In this role, you'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor, partnering directly with business founders and leadership teams to design and implement HR solutions that accelerate their growth journey. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact to clients, building strong relationships to understand and address their current and future HR needs Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with clients' business objectives, delivering pragmatic, results-driven solutions Deliver operational HR services, managing all aspects of employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance, relations, and offboarding Lead HR projects spanning policy development, organisational structure, culture initiatives, and change management Implement and streamline HRIS systems to enhance operational efficiency Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation (Fair Work Act, WHS, NES) and provide award interpretation Conduct investigations, manage grievances, and resolve complex employee relations matters Design and deliver training programs on HR compliance, leadership, and engagement Provide strategic advice on compensation, including salary benchmarking and award rates Advise and drive culture and engagement initiatives using data-driven insights, empowering managers and teams Develop HR documentation including contracts, policies, and position descriptions Identify business development opportunities and maintain client relationships Report on HR metrics and outcomes to demonstrate value and drive improvements Qualifications and Skills 7+ years in HR, with at least 3 years in consulting, demonstrating strategic HR leadership and multi-client management. Experience with leading and mentoring a team of more junior HR consultants including a remote offshore team. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., AHRI, CIPD) preferred. Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to HR solutions. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
