About the role
The role provides leadership, facilitation and operational support through coaching, governance and oversight, providing practical systems and tools, utilising data to drive decision making and providing training and solutions that promote a proactive safety culture across the whole business.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
* Monitor, analyse and report on health and wellbeing performance, risks and exposures for Solstice Energy and its subsidiaries.
* Identifies, develops and implements treatment plans that reduce health and wellbeing risk and realise healthy and wellbeing opportunities.
* Monitor, analyse and report on ESG & Environment performance, risks and exposures for Solstice Energy.
* Sustains systems for the collation and analysis of ESG & Environment data that support internal and external reporting obligations and initiatives.
* Facilitates internal and external audits, including pre-audit preparation, provision of information to the auditor during audits and closing out corrective actions and observations generated by audits.
* Sustains and maintains HSE enterprise management system applications while coaching Solstice Energy in their effective application.
* Leads significant incident investigations, preparing reports on findings while coaching Solstice Energy in the conduct of effective incident investigation and treatment plan development.
* Identifies and communicates material risks and opportunities, their critical controls and assesses the effectiveness with which they are applied while coaching Solstice Energy in the effective application of risk management systems and practices.
What You’ll Bring to The Role
The key to your success in the role will be the skills, experience and attributes you can bring to the role and Solstice Energy – in this role, you will need to possess:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the following fields: Health, Safety & Environment and/or risk management
* Degree qualified in HSE, Risk Management or related field or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring of people leaders and employees in effective HSE & Risk management
* Extensive and thorough understanding of Federal and State laws and regulations and accreditation standards
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* An adaptable and proactive approach to change, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
