With a growing project pipeline in both EVCI and BESS, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Project Manager.Role SummaryThe Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality expectations. You will be responsible for defining project objectives, guiding execution, and ensuring all deliverables meet required standards—while prioritising the health, safety, and wellbeing of all stakeholders.This role involves travel to project sites across different states.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all aspects of project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements.Facilitate clear and effective communication between clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.Drive timely delivery of project milestones within agreed budgets and schedules, with a strong focus on quality, safety, sustainability, and legislative compliance.Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.Compile regular project progress reports, conduct risk assessments, and provide insights for informed decision-making.Identify and resolve project-related challenges or conflicts proactively.Review and implement HSE and quality requirements, and work closely with Design Engineers to support an agile project lifecycle.Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and assist in negotiations with customers, coordinating across all relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.Keep the leadership team well-informed on project progress, manage client expectations, and negotiate extensions where necessary to ensure timely delivery.Experience & QualificationsQualifications in electrical trade, project management, engineering, or a related discipline (highly desirable).Minimum five years’ experience in construction, renewable energy, project management, engineering, or a similar field.Strong understanding of the complete project lifecycle, including a solid technical foundation.Working knowledge and application of current statutory requirements, state legislation, Australian Standards, and site-specific regulations.Broad understanding of the energy sector and its operational challenges.Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders across all project phases.Experience managing staff and subcontractors across multiple sites.Strong financial acumen with a track record of managing budgets and maintaining cost control.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks, both on- and off-site, including outside of regular hours when required.Experience in electrical estimating.Familiarity with Microsoft Project (highly regarded).What We OfferCompetitive salary package with project-based incentives.Opportunities for career progression within the growing EVCI and BESS sectors.A strong commitment to your professional development and overall wellbeing.
