You will work closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and learners to create engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the needs of the target audience and align with business objectives.You’ll do this by:Striving to understand and evaluate the specific technical competencies that need to be taught or enhanced within an organisation or educational setting.Playing a pivotal role in developing a structured curriculum or learning pathway that encompasses the required technical competencies. This includes defining learning objectives, sequencing content, and selecting the most effective instructional strategies.Creating impactful instructional materials, such as written documentation, videos, interactive simulations, e-learning modules, and more, to effectively communicate technical information.Designing captivating and interactive learning experiences that empower learners to master technical skills and concepts. This involves leveraging instructional technology, gamification, and simulations.Leading the creation of assessments and evaluations to measure learner understanding and proficiency in technical competencies. This includes designing quizzes, exams, hands-on projects, or performance assessments.The people you’ll join:You will join a dynamic and high-achieving team, reporting to the Lead Technical Instructional Designer based in Brisbane. This team is dedicated to excellence and innovation, consistently pushing the boundaries to create exceptional instructional materials and training programs.What you’ll bring:To be successful in this role, you will possess the ability to convert complex technical information into engaging instructional materials and training programs, working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create effective learning experiences. You will have experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and the creation of assessments to measure learner proficiency in technical competencies.
