We have a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and well-connected individual to step into our Leadership Team at our Mount Waverley office, as a New Business Director.
About The Role
Joining our Executive Leadership Team, you will work closely with our Heads of Departments to deliver New Business revenue and profit targets, as well as increase our New Business pipeline. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Identify, develop and establish key external relationships with potential clients
2. Lead generation, market research, competitor analysis and relationship management
3. Develop points of competitive advantage for our business
4. Develop new sales strategies to drive the business forward
5. Be fully informed on the breadth of the Strikeforce range of services, and sell our ‘end to end’ offer
6. Develop tailored proposals and pitches that articulate our company's full range of capabilities
7. Work with all required service functions within the business, to coordinate a best-in-class response to every new business opportunity
8. Identify key needs of potential clients beyond the explicit or stated needs, and deliver solutions
9. Negotiate and manage contracts and pricing with new clients
10. Monitor and report on business development activities, including tracking leads and opportunities
11. Provide New Business coaching and mentoring to internal Strikeforce team members
The New Business Director is deeply passionate about the company, our brand and what we offer, and is eager to leverage their connections to explore and hunt out new opportunities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to pursue a long-term strategic vision while responding to changing demands and unexpected opportunities. You will have clear and successful experience in a New Business role, preferably in an FMCG environment.
Your advanced skills in negotiation, influencing, persuasion, and conflict resolution in a sales environment will see you succeeding in this role. You will be required to utilize your self-motivation and resilience, as well as exceptional presentation skills to achieve our new business targets. Your ability to deliver high-impact proposals, combined with a track record of achieving sales targets, will ensure you are the right fit for our business.
