About the opportunity Join our Financial Crime Prevention and Detection Technology team to work on Financial Crimes and Operational Risk applications. You’ll make a huge impact by developing and enhancing these applications to protect the bank and our customers by helping us to prevent financial crimes and fraud. In this role you’ll get to… Work on a NetReveal upgrade project, manage other fin crime systems and BAU work. Deploy packages from SymphonyAI and work closely and collaboratively with our vendor to enhance our payment messaging systems. Work with Biocatch to deliver a reduction in customer fraud and ease the burden on our teams using the latest biometrics technologies. Provide a group wide support function on a 24/7 on-call roster basis. Be part of a cross functional scrum team, working hand in hand with our Treasury team to monitor and screen all our payments and transactions. What you’ll bring to the role To be successful in the role you will have: Experience as a Senior Software Engineer within the Banking and Financial Services Industry. Significant hands-on experience with Crime Prevention and Detection Technologies. Several years related experience coding with Java, Node.js and Python to build either Web Applications or APIs & Microservices. Knowledge and experience working with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP. Understanding of DevOps and experience working with tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
