Quality Officer About the role Provide subject matter expertise and assurance of the quality aspects of assigned Major Projects through the delivery phase of the project lifecycle. Successfully ensure consistency, accuracy and efficiency of Sydney Water Quality Management System within Major Projects in collaboration with project teams and Delivery Partners. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Understand and implement the Sydney Water policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Sydney Water Quality Management System Understand Sydney Water Technical Specifications for Civil/Electrical/Mechanical and ensure they are implemented within contractor documentation. Review Quality Management Plans Review and accept Inspection and Test Plans in consultation with Delivery Partners, ensuring compliance with the Sydney Water Technical Specifications Conduct Quality Functional Inspections to ensure compliance to the project specific documentation Conduct periodic site surveillance for Sydney Water Major Projects to ensure hold/witness points follow the Sydney Water Technical Specifications and to raise Report Actions where non-compliance occurs Analyse and report on monthly/quarterly key performance indicators of Major Projects to determine trends in performance and compliance Success Factors– What we are looking for in a person Tertiary qualification in business, engineering or related field, or experience deemed equivalent.
