This is an interstate project requiring work from Monday to Friday outside of Melbourne. The company will cover all flights and accommodation (private house).

Role Overview
As the Construction Director, you will be directly involved in ensuring the safe and successful delivery of works associated with this major project.
This role is suited to someone who has operated as a Project Director for a principal contractor on $2bn+ projects or holds equivalent experience as a Construction Director capable of stepping up.
You will lead the project in terms of construction, transport, logistics, plant & equipment, reporting to the Project Director, and managing a large team across several different work fronts.
You will have several Construction Directors reporting to you, overseeing scopes of works around $1bn each, making it a significant undertaking.
You should bring a background in senior construction roles and be comfortable managing multi-billion-dollar projects.
Requirements
An MSc or MEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required, along with 15+ years of experience in major projects.
You should possess specific skills in delivering and constructing major construction projects ($700m) with high levels of complexity.
Experience in high-risk projects (underground, tunneling, energy, O&G etc.) is highly regarded.
Effective communication, ability to influence and challenge, are also essential requirements for this role.
