About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team on a major road and bridge project in Sydney. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to an impactful infrastructure initiative.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to maintain efficient workflow and project timelines. Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and standards. Prepare and review technical documentation, progress reports, and project updates. Assist in resolving any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Maintain strong communication and collaboration with the project management team and other relevant parties. Requirements: Previous experience working with Transport for NSW (TFNSW) projects is essential. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven track record as a Site Engineer on road and bridge projects. Comprehensive understanding of road construction methods and bridge engineering. Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant tools.
