As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Business Support Officer – HR to join our team and play a key role in our people operations.
About the Role:
Reporting to the HR Manager, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who prioritises accuracy and precision in their work. As a Business Support Officer – HR, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the HR team, ensuring smooth and efficient HR functions, with their priority in Payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee time and attendance records, ensuring accurate tracking of employee hours and timesheets.
* Provide comprehensive support for payroll preparation and processing, including collecting, verifying, and maintaining employee data.
* Working closely with our Payroll Officer and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
* Support Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) activities, including maintaining WHS records, assisting with incident reporting, and promoting compliance with safety policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate HR records, databases, and personnel files in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Provide general administrative support to the HR team
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in an HR support, Payroll or administrative role.
* Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
* A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
* Experience or knowledge in Payroll, HR and/or WHS processes will be highly regarded.
