The role
The Manager, Office of the Deputy Director-General (ODDG) provides advice and support to the Director and Deputy Director-General (DDG) in the management and resolution of issues or initiatives impacting on the DDG and the Division.
Respsonsibilities include:
• Provide accurate, strategic, timely advice to the Director and DDG regarding contentious, time-critical or confidential matters, and other issues as required to ensure business continuity.
• Undertake projects on behalf of the Director and/or the DDG to drive operational and system improvements within Queensland public healthcare system.
• Develop and maintain effective professional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide advice and support to the Director and DDG on Divisional performance and outcomes, risks, and business services and improvement activities.
• Manage the Divisional correspondence services to ensure high quality advice is provided and effective allocation, tracking and monitoring process are in place.
