Join to apply for the Senior Business Analyst, Data role at MUFG Pension & Market ServicesAbout the roleAs a Senior Business Analyst for Data portfolio, you'll be familiar with cloud technology and be able to work with data project managers, cross-functional teams, cloud data technology teams, clients, and vendors to ensure that quality business and technical requirements for projects are documented, agreed, and delivered through all phases of the Project.Working with the Data Portfolio Manager and Senior Data Project Manager, you'll support the team with your skills to understand and articulate the business data and technical data requirements for implementing cloud-to-cloud projects, enterprise multi-cloud, and FinOps in your role as well as lead/support other activities across the Portfolio, Squads, and functional business streams.6 months Fixed term contract with potential extensionMultiple opportunities - 4 roles or vacanciesMelbourne or Parramatta based locationKey Accountabilities and main responsibilitiesDrive the definition of business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of detailed business data and technical data requirements for solution delivery ensuring delivery of project objectives and outcomes.Traceability between detailed business data and technical data requirements followed by testing.Identify key stakeholders iteratively, gather, validate and document business and technical requirements/use cases through facilitated discussions or workshops understanding need, requirements, and priorities.Analyse the system(s) impacted for points of change required and aspects the developers need to know in order to build the system with efficiency and without error.Model the customer experience, how they may use the product/service and how that will influence both your Business and Technical Requirements thereby enabling prioritisation of requirements and identification of opportunities for process improvement.Develop dashboards, graphics, and reports for Portfolio consumption on relevant matters, such as Requirement/Epic/Story cut through.Analyse backlogs and be aware of upcoming works, potential Analysis synergies that can be created between projects within the portfolios for efficiency gains.Create a business level user acceptance baseline to support/perform functional testing, investigating and feeding back issues to Developers.Make portfolio level recommendations pertaining to workplace continuous improvement opportunities, role efficiency gains, as well as other aspects of delivery as and when the opportunity arises.Ensure that testing is appropriately documented, with evidence recorded and working in close consultation with the Test Lead and Project Manager to ensure adequate test coverage and strong traceability.Provide input to and/or support business readiness to ensure smooth implementation and transition to BAU.Apply creative thinking and work in collaborative partnership with the project team and cross-functional stakeholders to solve business challenges, further supporting the documentation of clear, concise and accurate requirements.Display role model behaviours with facilitation, communication, and collaboration.Experience & Personal Attributes7+ years of Business Analysis experience with a strong understanding of PM methodologies and practices across SDLC / PLC.Experience using project management and project scheduling software.Experience creating reports, charts, and graphs appropriate for presentation to executive management.Experienced with O365 and competent with Service Now, Jira, and SharePoint.Experience working on large complex projects across multiple business and technical delivery teams.Ability to work well under pressure, with ambiguity and be self-driven.Excellent analytical skills, presentation skills, and oral and written communication skills.Some of our Employment BenefitsTalent Referral ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramSalary Sacrificing via SuperannuationFlexiWorks – enabling our employees to work in the office and at homePurchased Leave, Parental Leave, Volunteer Leave, Gender transition leave, Well-being leaveEmployee Recognition Program - to recognise people who are demonstrating our values and Company purpose.Learning & Development - Development at your fingertips via self-paced learning, including educational assistance support.Employee discounts – Access discounted rates and offers from a variety of providers including Bupa and Microsoft!We are an inclusive employer whose people work collaboratively.
