As a Portfolio Owner, Governance & Operations, you will be responsible for leading the ‘Governance and Operations’ team within the Business Lending Line of Business (LoB). You will work closely with your team, Managing Director, Business Lending LoB and various Head of’s and their teams to ensure adherence and governance to regulatory obligations, supporting compliance and integrity of the business lending product and value chains.Key Accountabilities:Govern the product as per policy and standardsManage and govern product collateral changes including but not limited to terms and conditions, BFA and security collateralSet the Business Lending Value Chain governance standards, including the minimum deliverables and approvals for changesGovern changes to the Business Lending Value Chains, including process maps/ models, SOPs, obligations, risks, controls and toolsCo-ordinate and be the secretariat of various product, process (value chains) governance forumsResponsible for process improvement and control optimisation across the value chains and customer journeys in business lendingProduct and process reportingInfluence and support enterprise product and Value Chain leads to simplify and improve the framework, policy, templates and standardsManage the Value Chain service desk and embed governance framework.Coordination of governance and adherence to regulatory obligationsGovernance & Risk Reporting (e.g. issues & incidents)Product performance monitoringWhat’s in it for me?You’ll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for 200 years.
