Our friendly IT team have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Service Desk analyst who has a passion for all things technology to join the team in Port Melbourne. This role upholds excellence in all Service Delivery and Service Management Activities in accordance with ITIL principles.
The purpose of the role will be to be the first point of contact for internal customers and providing basic troubleshooting of IT technical issues, or escalating issues accordingly. You will be part of a dynamic team in an ever changing environment that takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.
Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, this role will include the following:
1. Delivery of high quality level 1 IT support to all users via phone and email
2. Responsible for quick resolution of critical IT support issues.
3. Responsible to ensure all support requests are logged and tracked in the Service Now Tool.
4. Responding to all customers queries in accordance with defined SLA's.
5. Providing after hours support as required on a monthly rotation.
6. Assist with system administration and asset management tasks
To ensure your success in this role, you must have:
7. Minimum of 2 years experience working in an IT Help desk environment
8. Demonstrated capability supporting Active Directory, Citrix and VmWare.
9. Relevant IT qualifications
10. Knowledge and understanding of IT systems, their use and applicability in the service industry
11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
12. Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to interpret customer issues and resolutions
13. Knowledge of Google Suite
