About the role:
Enjoy a long weekend every weekend! As a Production Line Operator, you'll be a vital part of a close-knit team, working directly under the Team Leader. With a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, you'll have every Friday off and enjoy a fantastic work-life balance. Treat yourself to more time for what you love while making a difference for our client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Perform quality management and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Conduct in-depth line inspections and identify any worn or faulty parts.
* Collaborate with team members and engineering technicians to resolve breakdowns quickly.
* Assist with line setups and changeovers while maximizing machine reliability.
* Promote a culture of safety and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the plant and equipment.
Skills and Experience:
* Trade qualification preferred. (Mechanically Minded Qualification)
* Experience in high-end consumer packaging within the FMCG industry.
* Familiarity with machinery in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
* Forklift license is preferred.
* Strong safety orientation and ability to work independently and in a team.
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia.

* High level communication and influencing skills.
* Competent computer literacy skills.
* Knowledge of 5S principles.
* Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis is a must.
