Casual Retail Security Officer - North Brisbane
We are currently looking for Security Officers to be based in North Brisbane on a casual basis.
Role Overview:
As a Security Officer, you will deliver high-quality front-line security services, ensuring the safety and security of our premises. Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring and managing risks effectively.
* Reporting and documenting incidents accurately.
* Responding promptly to medical and security emergencies, including emergency management.
* Building professional relationships with emergency services.
* De-escalating conflicts and resolving challenging situations.
* Providing operational guidance and support to fellow security personnel.
You will have:
* Valid security license with crowd controller designation.
* Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
* Good physical fitness; ability to walk approximately 30,000 steps per shift.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Outlook).
* Effective word processing skills for clear, factual incident reporting and maintaining shift logs.
* Demonstrated experience in security or transferable real-world skills.
