The Bendigo UFS team pride ourselves on our ongoing commitment to building a healthier community supported by our community grants program which has delivered over $800,000 in funds to community groups since 2005.About the roleWe are looking for experienced and customer focused Dispensary Technicians/Pharmacy Students to join our busy View St pharmacy team on a casual basis. Candidates with availability to work both day and evening shifts will be highly regarded. Varying shifts are available through out the week including evenings and weekends. Our Dispensary Technicians/Pharmacy Students play a vital role supporting our Pharmacists, through dispensing & ordering of medications, completing a range of administrative functions, as well as assisting customers with information about over the counter products.About youYou will have demonstrated experience as a Dispensary Technician/Pharmacy Student in an Australian pharmacy setting, ideally with formal qualifications (for technicians). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and accuracy are essential. You will have a positive, proactive and team orientated approach to your work, and align with the values of our organisation by being respectful, caring and trustworthy.Key skills and attributes
Demonstrated experience working as a Dispensary Technician/Pharmacy Student in an Australian Pharmacy setting is essential.
S2S3 training (or completion of first year subjects for pharmacy students.)
Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent dispensary short courses) highly regarded.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work accurately under pressure.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to support the daily operational needs of the team.
Demonstrated organisation and time management skills.
A commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medications and over-the-counter products.
