Founded in 1910, Motor Traders’ Association of NSW (“MTA NSW”) is the peak Employer’s Association dedicated to representing owners and business principals in the NSW automotive industry. We continue to develop a strong and successful training model, which delivers countless benefits to employers and learners in the automotive industry.About the RoleThe role requires an individual with experience in the field of Automotive Light Vehicle and holds the appropriate qualification. It is desirable that applicants have a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in the particular area, to complement their training capacity.The position focuses on the delivery of quality automotive industry-specific training that allows individuals within the industry to gain a nationally recognized qualification. Training with the learners is undertaken one-on-one at the learner's workplace over the duration of 1-3 years. The positions will deliver training to students within your local area and other Regional NSW areas; therefore, applicants require a current unrestricted NSW driver's license.The Requirements:5+ years relevant trade experienceHold a Certificate III in Automotive Light VehicleAbility to pass a Working with Children Check to train individuals under the age of eighteenPolice CheckCurrent unrestricted NSW driver's licenseCompany car (fully maintained)Fast-paced environmentOpportunity to progress and develop a careerSupportive team environmentBirthday leaveMTA NSW is based in Burwood; however, this position requires you to train Apprentices in your local area and Regional NSW, therefore the incumbent must be willing to travel as required. You will also be required to attend meetings at head office in Burwood from time to time.It would be advantageous if you have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; however, if you do not, we will pay for your qualification.
