Primary Education Officer: Structured Literacy Coach Catholic Education Office Diocese of Ballarat – Mildura VIC Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited (DOBCEL) is a company limited by guarantee, created to govern 57 schools located across Western Victoria.DOBCEL and its administrative arm, Catholic Education Ballarat (CEB), work together to support the leadership of all Catholic Primary and Secondary schools, to promote Catholic identity, to deliver quality learning, provide effective stewardship and nurture respectful and trusting relationships with the community.About the Role This role will partner with schools identified by the Flare Primary Literacy Strategy team to support the development of Literacy Leaders in their coordination of facilitated Literacy improvement.This position will be part of the Learning and Teaching Team.Key Responsibilities include: Support schools with the identification and implementation of evidence-based practices that will lead to improved learning outcomes for all students.Assist individual Literacy Leaders or teams to plan and implement programs that will lead to improved learning outcomes.Work collaboratively as a member of the Flare team and larger Learning & Teaching team, focused on improving outcomes for all students.
