Key responsibilities include: Teaching Religious Education and an additional subject area to secondary students. Using formative assessments to enhance learning outcomes and tailor instruction to individual student needs. Employing innovative teaching methods and using CANVAS, the school's student learning management system. Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with educational best practices. Contributing to a team-oriented, positive teaching atmosphere. Motivating students and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Demonstrating strong organisational and communication skills, ensuring timely completion of reporting and administrative tasks. Qualifications For This Role Current NESA accreditation to teach in NSW & current NSW Working with Children Check. Qualified to teach secondary Religious Education, including Studies of Religion + an additional subject area. Proven ability to use assessment data to inform and improve teaching practices. Familiarity with CANVAS or similar learning management systems. Evidence of ongoing professional learning and development. Strong commitment to collaborative teaching and learning.
