We do this through living our values of Integrity, Accountability, Humility, Co-Creation and Inclusivity.About the RoleReporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, this site-based role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our mining company, leading a team of trades personnel to deliver planned and corrective maintenance safely and efficiently.This is a front-line leadership position, providing technical support and advice to the Maintenance Team on ways to optimise equipment reliability and availability to ensure delivery on budgeted commitments.Location and Roster Options:We have a strong preference for the preferred candidate to reside in the West Kimberley region, with relocation and living allowances provided. For the right candidate, FIFO from Perth will be considered.Site Based Roster: 8 days on, 6 days offKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safe execution of all planned and unplanned maintenance activities within quality, time and budget requirementsOperate in accordance with KMS Work Management and Shutdown Management processes, ensuring collaboration across multidisciplinary departmentsSupport effective resource allocation (people, equipment, and resources) to meet maintenance work schedulesDevelop executable maintenance scopes and schedules aligned with Process Plant Maintenance strategies and life of asset planningCoach, mentor and identify development opportunities for team members to raise overall effectiveness of the work completed, ensuring all site personnel are trained and competent for the tasks that they are carrying outComplete detailed shift logs and handovers for the incoming Supervisor MaintenanceAbout YouHold an electrical trade certificateHold a WA C-Class driver’s licenceMinimum 5 years’ work experience in a similar role, preferably in the resource sectorHighly skilled in, and familiar with, maintenance of fixed plant equipment and infrastructureDemonstrated leadership and team management skillsComfortable supervising a multi-discipline team consisting of both electrical and mechanical tradesExcellent communication and influencing skills to effectively convey daily priorities and action plansFault-finding and problem solving skills, with a can-do attitudeKnowledge of the Mines Safety & Inspection Act and RegulationsExperience with maintenance planning/scheduling within CMMS systems, preferably SAPOur Commitment to Diversity & InclusionKMS is committed to advancing an inclusive and diverse workforce culture and environment where people feel comfortable to be themselves.
