About the Role We’re urgently looking for compassionate, dedicated, and proactive Disability Support Workers to join our team and make a real impact in the Penrith area. This is your chance to provide life-changing care to young people in a safe, loving, and trauma-informed environment. If you have experience supporting youth or adults and are passionate about giving back to your community, we need you NOW As a Disability Support Worker, your mission will be to guide young people in the following 5 critical areas of care: Daily Living Support Therapeutic Support Education Wellbeing & Engagement Mental Health Support You will be a role model – demonstrating positive behaviors, encouraging aspirations, building resilience, and helping young people feel safe and valued. About You We need individuals who are not just qualified, but truly passionate about making a difference You’re someone who: Has experience working with young participants – especially in accommodation settings. Can commit to 3-4 days per week of casual shifts. Holds a Certificate III or above in Community Services, Youth Work, Disability, or a related field. Has a genuine ability to connect with young people and establish trust and rapport while maintaining professional boundaries. Can manage challenging behaviors and de-escalate situations in a trauma-informed, therapeutic manner. Is client-focused with a passion for creating positive outcomes. Has experience working with clients with the following behaviors: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) Anxiety Seizures To Apply, You’ll Need: Relevant Qualifications: Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in relevant fields. NDIS Worker Screening or Yellow Card. Working with Children Check (Employee version or Blue Card). A current National Police Check. A valid Australian driver’s license reliable, insured car.
