Located at our Jalna manufacturing site in Thomastown and supporting Campbellfield, reporting to the Site Manager and dotted line to Head of HR - operations and logistics, we are looking for a site-based HR Manager full time or 4 days per week to support a total of approximately 115 across both sites. This role has a direct admin report.
Responsibilities include:
Driving leadership development among senior and front line leaders to deliver the right tools for the future. Utilizing a 'hands on', interactive approach to provide effective HR/IR services as required to all operational employees. Coaching line managers in relation to performance management issues & development plans. Managing and coordinating all recruitment (end to end) with central support from CoE. Interpreting site-based Enterprise Agreement and ensuring compliance within operations, including renegotiation of agreements in 2025. Future proofing our site through managing relationships with unions and external parties (audits). About you:
Tertiary qualification in HR/Business. 5+ years HR experience demonstrating strong leadership, conflict resolution, influence, building relationships, negotiation skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Commercial acumen in understanding labour costs and impacts. Our story:
