Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Education Improvement Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in supporting schools and regional services to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide critical system leadership to support the Deputy Secretary in ensuring that regions operate efficiently, cohesively, and in alignment with the Schools and Regional Services Strategy.
* Lead local area teams and collaborate across teams to identify and address support needs, driving coordinated action to ensure schools take effective approaches to improvement.
* Develop and implement regional priorities and service delivery strategies to lift outcomes for all children and young people at the local level.
* Support schools to build their leadership and school improvement capacity, particularly in implementing the Framework for Improving Student Outcomes (FISO).
* Facilitate effective regional relationships, manage internal and external relationships to initiate and implement system change, and build strong relationships with individual principals and across school networks.
* Play a key role in the implementation of Education State initiatives, provide implementation insights to inform ongoing policy design, and lead improvement strategies at the local level.

Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
* Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline desirable.
* Strong organizational awareness, influence, and negotiation skills.
* Conceptual and analytical ability.
