Position Details
As a Psychiatry Registrar, you will:
Deliver high-quality mental health care under psychiatrist supervision, adhering to clinical guidelines and a recovery-oriented approach. Participate in statutory responsibilities under the Mental Health and Related Services Act and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Contribute to after-hours on-call rosters and respond to crisis situations as required. Engage in teaching and supervision of junior staff and students. Participate in research, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities. Fulfil requirements of the RANZCP Psychiatric Training Program. Job Details
Fixed-term position for two years, full-time. Salary: AUD $118,703-$148,733 per annum, plus allowances. Benefits

Qualifications
MBBS or equivalent, with eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Eligibility for RANZCP trainee registration. Essential Skills and Experience
Understanding of the role and function of inpatient and ambulatory mental health services. Proficiency in using information technology for clinical documentation and service delivery. Current or ability to obtain a Northern Territory driver's license. Strong cultural competency and ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Desirable Skills and Experience
Awareness of the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards for Mental Health. Previous mental health experience. Experience teaching junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals. About Us
