This role involves producing technical drawings, 3D visualizations, and material selection presentations while collaborating with designers, builders, and clients to bring renovation concepts to life.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop Detailed Drawings & Plans – Create precise technical drawings, floor plans, and elevations for renovation projects using Revit.Collaborate with Designers & Clients – Work closely with builders and clients to translate sketches and written scopes into functional designs.Create 3D Models & Renderings – Generate 3D renderings using Revit to help clients visualize design concepts.Prepare Material Selection Presentations – Use Canva to create engaging presentations for materials, finishes, and fixtures.Coordinate with Contractors & Suppliers – Communicate design details and specifications with trades and suppliers to ensure accurate execution.Revise & Update Drawings – Modify designs based on client feedback, site conditions, and evolving project requirements while maintaining version control.Assist in Material Selection & Documentation – Support the client in selecting finishes, fixtures, and materials, and prepare detailed schedules and documentation.RequirementsCAD & Drafting Software – Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and the ability to adapt existing templates and repurpose families.3D Visualization & Rendering – Experience with Revit 3D modeling, Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, or V-Ray for high-quality presentations.Graphic & Presentation Skills – Ability to create professional material selection presentations using Canva.Knowledge of Interior Design & Renovation – Understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, and construction methods specific to renovations.Familiarity with Building Codes & Standards – Awareness of local building regulations, NCC, and industry best practices.Strong Attention to Detail – Ability to produce precise, high-quality drawings with minimal errors.Communication & Collaboration – Experience working with designers, architects, builders, and clients to refine and execute design solutions.Education & Experience – Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting, interior design, or architecture, with a focus on renovation projects.Bonus Skills (Highly Desirable)Building Methodology Expertise – Knowledge of waterproofing standards, structural design considerations, and renovation best practices.Project Management & Coordination – Experience using Buildertrend or similar construction management software for trade communication, scheduling, and cloud storage.Advanced 3D Rendering – Proficiency in Lumion, 3ds Max for immersive visualizations.This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely on high-end renovation projects, collaborating with a talented and dynamic team.
