DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Description – Sports and Administration Assistant
The role of the Assistant is to assist the staff at Lilydale Heights College with the coordination of Sports Activities and Administration across the College.
Duties may include:
· Attending school camps, field trips and sports days assisting teachers with activities where required
· Assist at various sporting events, marshalling, timekeeping, assistant coaching and other match day duties as required
· Prepare sports equipment kits for various teams (including first aid equipment in consultation with College nurse), ensure equipment is returned to school and washed, maintain sports storeroom and update/repair and or replace equipment as necessary
· Assist with various sports teams in the capacity as an assistant coach, runner, water carrier, umpire or team manager
· Organise, manage and coordinate along with the relevant Faculty Leader, the College Athletics and Swimming Sports Days
· Liaise with sporting associations such as Schools Sport Victoria as well as other schools regarding sports matters, including enacting communication with SSV, attending division meetings
· Convening on behalf of the school at division sport when allocated by the division coordinator
· Inform staff about upcoming interschool sports dates and their responsibilities
· Various administrative tasks including booking transport/venues, following up on student permission forms as required
· Write school newsletter sports reports, stories for the school magazine, social media posts
· Assisting with the running of interschool sport training sessions at lunchtime
· IT related tasks – data entry to databases
· Other duties as designated by the Principal or their delegate

SALARY
As the successful candidate, you will receive:
$21,500 – $30,000 plus 11% Superannuation
6. National Training Wage Award
