About the role
ac.care is seeking a Team Leader Residential Care Services to provide direction and support to rostered staff working in a community-based emergency accommodation house for children and young people.
* Provide debriefing and regular supervision to team members.
* Role model and encourage staff to maintain standards of excellence in service delivery.
* Induct and support house staff to provide therapeutic care, guidance, support, and supervision of children and young people.
* Consult and communicate with colleagues within ac.care and the Department of Child Protection.
* Maintain statistics and provide reports as required.
Salary and Benefits

* Current SA drivers licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent.
* Current satisfactory Working With Children Check (WWCC).
* Current satisfactory National Police Check.
* Child Safe Environment (Through Their Eyes) certificate.
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Meet the Department of Child Protection qualification requirements or be willing to complete the Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention within 12 months of commencing employment.
* Demonstrated experience in leadership and effective management debriefing and supervision of staff.
* Demonstrated ability to provide therapeutic care for children and young people.
* Demonstrated experience in working with Aboriginal people, their families, and communities.
Estimated salary range:
$87,000 - $105,000 per annum
