About the role
We are looking for multiple disability support workers to provide support to a client at Port Kennedy who requires support 24/7. A day supporting our client can include:
* Communicate effectively to support the client
* Assisting client with toileting, continence aids and cleaning their homes
* Supporting mobility and transfers
* Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
* Providing support and transport for the client to access and participate as a valued member of their community.
About you
You’ll be caring, kind, warm and reliable. You’ll share our values and be wanting to make a difference, and you’ll:
* A genuine passion for making a difference in someone’s life
* Ability to work collaboratively with both the internal and external teams to provide consistency to our client
* Have a full driver’s licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle preferably a sedan or hatchback (that is registered with Third Party Insurance)
* Satisfactory National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Certificate III in Community Care, Individualised Supports or Disability is desirable.
* Current First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
