The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a Parliamentary Service Level 6 Cloud Engineer within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Cloud Engineer reports to the Director of DPS Architecture & Cloud section under the Office of the CIO. The Cloud Engineer is responsible for: designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based systems working with a variety of different technologies, including but not limited to, virtualisation software, storage platforms, and networking equipment, to build out robust cloud computing environments that meet the needs of the department The Cloud Engineer is often tasked with developing new features or services for existing systems and may also be asked to troubleshoot problems when these systems aren't working as intended. The successful applicant can expect to work within the Information Services Division to deliver diverse technologies that support the operation of the Parliamentary Departments, the Australian Parliament House and Parliamentarians offices around Australia.
