The broader Marketing team has recently moved into a new shared services way of operation, in service of the functional streams we represent – Arts & Culture, Education, Events & Tourism. While this role will focus predominantly on the Education stream, the entire marketing team operates in an agile way of working to move and support business priorities.
About the Role
In pursuit of our mission, we are currently seeking a Marketing Manager with a passion for brand-building and campaign management to join us in creating vibrant, engaging marketing experiences that capture the spirit of the Gold Coast and speak directly to culturally diverse youth audiences, with a particular focus on students.
Reporting to the Campaign Director, this role is focused on leading strategic marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and growth in this emerging market. As the Marketing Manager – Education, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring campaigns to life while also supporting projects across the broader organisation.
What You'll Do:
* Lead with Vision – Set and execute a compelling strategy for the Education stream, guiding a multidisciplinary team of creatives to deliver impactful campaigns aligned with EGC’s brand goals and values.
* Build & Execute Campaigns – Develop and manage marketing strategies targeting emerging audiences, especially youth-driven markets, and oversee launch campaigns across international and domestic audiences.
* Activate the Brand – Drive brand consistency and innovation, ensuring all touchpoints reflect EGC’s ethos and resonate with diverse audiences. You’ll be responsible for on-the-ground activations and memorable brand experiences.
* Collaborate Across Functions – Work with various departments to align efforts with overall business goals, providing mentorship and supporting colleagues within a shared services environment.
* Analyse & Optimise – Use market data and campaign insights to fine-tune strategies and boost campaign performance. Manage budgets effectively, allocating resources to high-impact initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
* Demonstrated success in managing high-impact marketing initiatives that resonate with youth audiences in both local and international markets. It would be highly desirable if you have proven experience specifically with international and domestic student audiences.
* A track record of guiding and inspiring teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
* Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and market trends, with a focus on driving outcomes.
* Proficiency in using analytics to measure campaign success and optimise future strategies.
This role is based on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
