Job Description Senior Business Analyst – Consumer Finance Pricing Sydney Full-time Permanent Hybrid working model (2-3 days on-site) How will I help?
The Consumer Finance Team placed within Consumer Banking, aims to be our customers' favourite way to pay and borrow through the delivery of market leading propositions that make it easiest to buy, pay and stay.
As a Senior Business Analyst within the Product and Pricing simplification squad, you would partner with the business and technology teams to execute on the Business Strategy & Vision, which is to simplify Consumer Credit Card Product offerings and the pricing.
Your position is responsible for driving multiple cross-functional business teams to achieve clearly defined results operating within the agreed upon time, and specifications of each deliverable.
You will define and manage the requirements through the agile delivery lifecycle to meet business needs, providing and directing recommendations for process re-design and improvements and business solutions, enabling changes to processes, policy and/or information that support Westpac to achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities: Work with Product Owner, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems Capture business requirements into features, epics & user stories and acceptance criteria Facilitate and participate in workshops, showcases and presentations Produce 'as-is' and 'to-be' process maps, data models, target operating models, and other BA-related outputs as required Influence and negotiate with others to gain agreements and signoffs on required outcomes.
Provide recommendations for process redesign and improvements and business solutions, enabling changes to processes, policy and/or information Manage requirements through the whole delivery lifecycle to meet business needs Understand risk management framework Input into Risk and Control Matrix management Responsible for Business Value Chain management What's in it for me?

What do I need?
Risk Mindset - expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks In-depth understanding and demonstrable cross functional Business Analyst experience on unsecured lending product (Credit Card, Personal Loan), processes and systems.
Experience on Credit Card product setup, pricing, migration, servicing and comms (Must have) Experience on Agile user story written, and Agile & Waterfall project delivery Experience in working closely with all levels of internal & external stakeholders, business area & delivery teams and build collaborative partnerships Demonstrate understanding of business analysis domain and knowledge of tools, methods and communication techniques to extract, develop, validate and document business requirements Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills content, and adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change based on needs Exemplify a high level of self-motivation, organisation and delivery with minimal supervision What is it like to work there?
