We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams.A permanent full time position is available at our Inspirations Paint Kippa-Ring store for an enthusiastic Paint Sales Assistant with experience in paint sales. Relevant personal experience within the paint or hardware industries or in home improvement projects is also an advantage.The successful applicant would be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in also providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers.The position is available for immediate start and will include ongoing industry leading training and a uniform. Wages dependent on experience. Store hours are between 6.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 7:30am to 2pm. The store is not open on Sundays or public holidays.Responsibilities include:Following the “Inspirations Way” proceduresProviding exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customersTinting and mixing paint; colour advice and matchingPaint and accessory deliveries as requiredStore presentation, stock management and housekeepingWorkplace Health & Safety requirements.Experience / Attributes:A background in sales and/or customer service with a paint specialist or in a hardware environment essentialPractical experience in home improvement projects desirableExperience with marine, automotive or industrial paints an advantageApproachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints.Able to problem solve using advanced communication skillsA willingness to learn and continuously improveAble to contribute and work in a small team environmentHonest, reliable and punctualBasic computer skillsAvailable to work weekends on a rotating rosterThis role involves some heavy lifting up to 25kgsIf you have knowledge of the paint industry, are enthusiastic and motivated and have a genuine interest in people and providing an exceptional customer experience, we would like to hear from you.
