Your Role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:
* Provide clinical and therapeutic interventions in Disability and Community settings to enhance participants' quality of life.
* Coach and mentor junior therapists while contributing to continuous improvement projects.
* Lead the team, offering guidance, supervision, and ensuring high standards of care.
* Complete assessments, including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs), and develop evidence-based therapy plans to support independence and optimal outcomes.
* Conduct home modification assessments for safety and accessibility.
* Build relationships with participants, families, and support teams, and educate on key health topics.
Your Opportunity:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist in a community setting, you will join a large, collaborative multidisciplinary allied health team supporting participants and consumers across Disability and Community settings. This role offers the opportunity to:
* Utilise your skills in clinical and therapeutic interventions to achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes for participants and consumers.
* Be supported by clinical treatment pathways designed to optimise rehabilitation and goal achievement for participants.
* Work with participants and consumers referred through government-funded models, including NDIS, Home Care Packages, Short-Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and private funding.
* Experience a diverse caseload and a supportive work environment that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
