As we embark on delivering key organisational initiatives, we are expanding our Marketing and Communications team!
About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Digital and Communications Officer to join our Marketing and Communications team.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will maintain the written and visual style for GMR digital marketing through the creation of content for GMR digital channels, and marketing and communications campaigns.
This role will increase the visibility of GMR and enhance the external image of the organisation.
About the Person • A tertiary degree (Bachelor level) in marketing, PR or communication and/or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within similar position supporting the design and maintenance of websites (WordPress would be beneficial) and social media
• Experience in developing content (written and visual) for print and digital channels
• Proven ability and experience with developing, delivering and implementing engaging paid and organic social media campaigns, both written and multimedia
• Ability to capture photography and create simple videos
• Experience with, or ability to quickly become familiar with, Adobe Creative Suite applications, CRMs, EDM platforms, and other related programs and technologies
• Ability to produce work of high quality within established timeframes and while managing multiple projects
• Proven ability to build strong, cooperative relationships with key stakeholders, and work collaboratively across teams to deliver results
• Outstanding communication skills—written, verbal and active listening
• Self-starter, high level of initiative, proven proactive thinker
• Previous experience in a not-for-profit, research or health related organisation (desirable)
