Job Description Reporting to the management accountant, your main job duties will include: General Finance Duties Bank reconciliation. Maintaining Daily Cashflow for Receipts/Accounts Payable. Journal/Data Entry. Assist the Accountant as required. Accounts Payable Oversee and manage outstanding invoices in the system. Reconciliation of supplier accounts. Preparation of IAS/BAS. Support the audit process when required. Assist the Management Accountant with duties such as: Reconciliation & settlement of wholesale market transactions. Management of AEMO prudential credit arrangements. Continuing development of settlements & accounting policies & procedures. Other adhoc duties. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have at least 1 - 2 years in an Accounts or Assistant Accountant role. They will have good Excel skills - confident with V and X Look Ups. They will have great attention to detail, be numbers savvy, and have the drive to learn and develop. Someone who is currently or would like to study their CPA would be perfect for this role, as there is a clear pathway into being a qualified accountant.
