About the School
Wheatlands State School caters for students from Prep to Year 6 with current enrolment numbers at 84. Nestled between the regional towns of Murgon and Wonda, our rural school is located 270km from Brisbane and 197km to Toowoomba.
About the Role
As the Principal your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
* Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Uphold the principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity.
* Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
* Set high standards for student and staff performance.
* Be futures-oriented and strategic.
* Understand the legislation and policies that impact schooling.
