This key appointment for our business success will collaborate with our Operations stakeholders, ensuring accurate financial information as well as contribute to strategic projects.
As we enter a new phase of growth at Metagenics, we seek a manager with the ability to challenge, influence, and inspire change.Key responsibilities will include:Partner with our Operations stakeholders, providing support to ensure accurate and clear presentation of financial information.Bring financial acumen and business intelligence to stakeholders to support sound business decisions.Investigate viability of business development opportunities including New Project Development (NPD) projects, communication and trade plans.Investigate product/portfolio lines profitability and make recommendations regarding continuation or discontinuation of lines.Contribute to ongoing product maintenance including data, product changes process and provide best practice solutions.Assist in preparation of efficiency programs, KPI setting and monitoring, ROI projects through to completion and post implementation reviews.Lead and prepare departmental variance analysis over costs to both budget and/or standard cost for Supply Chain.Ensure global reporting of results is accurate and timely and in compliance with operating procedures.Lead the product costing and standard cost, ensuring accurate costs are reflected for effective business decisions.Take a lead role in the Integrated Business Process (IBP), ensuring best outcomes for supply and demand requirements.Lead the development of the Capex Plan (Supply Chain).Develop and prepare insightful reports, KPI's and dashboards for the Operational functions to support informed decision making.Lead the operating budget process for the Operations team.Lead post implementation reviews of major capital and operational projects.Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports and show commitment to their ongoing development.Skills and Experience:Member of a professional Accounting body (CA, CPA, CIMA).Solid experience in a plant accountant or management accounting role.Proven operational finance analytical skills, including in-depth understanding of product costing - essential.Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment - highly regarded.High level of ability with Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills essential.Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics (D365) and/or Power BI desired, not essential.Strong client interaction, commercial and relationship management skills.Job benefits and perks:Eligible for up to 2 Work from Home days per week.Eligible to participate in our Company Bonus Program.Heavily discounted product for yourself and family to purchase, with complimentary product available in the office, free onsite parking.An Annual Recognition Program that recognises employee performance and alignment to our Values and active Culture.Access to Perkbox, an employee benefits and discounts provider of major brands, as well as onsite Yoga, Ping Pong and Art Classes.Our ideal appointment will be a strong collaborator that can work effectively with our individual contributors through to our top execs, maintaining a friendly disposition under pressure, and will have great problem-solving skills.
