We are seeking a high-calibre Corporate Development professional to join a fast-growing energy investment and development platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual at the Associate to Vice President level to drive new investments and asset management initiatives.
The role is based in Sydney.
As a key member of the Corporate Development team, you will play a critical role in executing investment transactions and managing energy infrastructure assets.
This organization is expanding rapidly across the distributed energy value chain, partnering with leading commercial and industrial clients to decarbonize Australia's largest energy consumers.
Key responsibilities include: Leading financial analysis, valuation modelling (DCF, cash flow), and investment structuring.
Managing transaction diligence, structuring, negotiation, and execution.
Overseeing integration and growth initiatives within the portfolio.
Working closely with senior management and external stakeholders to assess new opportunities.
Preparing investment memoranda and delivering strategic recommendations.
We are looking for candidates with: 4 -8 years, total experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure funds, energy development, or related sectors.
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with expertise in infrastructure and energy assets.
Experience managing workstreams in live M&A transactions.
A track record of successfully structuring and executing complex commercial arrangements.
A high degree of intellectual curiosity, problem-solving ability, and commercial acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to present to an investment committee.
