This position is primarily within our 'Subacute In the Home' (SITH) program and has potential experience opportunities in the subacute rehabilitation ward also. We seek a self-motivated, positive senior physiotherapist passionate about subacute rehabilitative management. The role involves managing cases of functional decline, stroke, respiratory admissions, falls and frailty, neuro, cardiac, and general rehab admissions in the community and subacute settings. Strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport with diverse groups, and the ability to navigate challenging conversations are essential. This role involves traveling to Albury Wodonga and surrounding rural areas to assess, monitor, and progress therapy for patients; therefore, a driver's license and confidence in manual handling are required. Mandatory Requirements Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA) Current Driver's License Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated depth of experience appropriate to the rehabilitative domain. Ability to assess, plan, and implement realistic treatments and outcome goals for at times complex clients. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Well-developed time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to implement and evaluate Quality Improvement activities. Experience in mentoring, clinical supervision, training, and supporting other physiotherapy staff, health professionals, physiotherapy students, and relevant agencies- however if you are an emerging senior, we will provide this support for you to grow into this role. Employment Type Part-time (24 hrs/0.6 FTE, negotiable) fixed term 12 months position, ideally commencing late Oct. There may be the opportunity for extension in this role or extra hours to top up to full time in our rehabilitation ward as a senior.
