Duties: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be primarily responsible for: Managing all existing and new electrical compliance projects across a variety of clients/customers. You will also be responsible for the following:Provide technical support to the Australian based teams.Review of all new products.Be the contact for any technical questions, particularly electrical.Provide guidance on certification and manage the EESS register on behalf of the client.Provide guidance and forecasting for long term compliance projects.Liasing with multiple clients, ensuring the /projects are fully compliant within the client's requirements/wants. Strong Understanding and ability to work with AS/NZS. Availability to liaise with international clients within outside of standard business hours from time to time. Product Electrical Compliance development. Familiarity with ACCC and Australian regulatory bodies withResponsible for all communication regarding Electrical Product compliance matters between clients and our client.Understanding and applications of Australian regulatory compliance requirements, including those from EESS, ERAC, NSW Fair Trading, Energy Safe Victoria, WorkSafe Queensland, ACMA, AICIS, ACCC, Equipment Energy Efficiency, Safe Work Australia and any other regulation bodies.Preparation and creation of technical documentation; conducting quality control audit, exercise due diligence criteria for quality assurance audit; review of technical documentation including test reports, certificates, etc; evaluation of products including finding root causes, analyzing failures and preparing reports. Requirements for the role: Formal education possibly an engineering or science degree.Manage electrical projects in the wholesale/retail market.Strong interpersonal communication.Have experience with client facing roles.
