Our client is a well-known government organization who are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Administration Officer to join their successful and dynamic team environment based in Singleton in this exciting opportunity to start immediately on an initial 6 month contract, with a possibility of extension.
This role requires individuals who are competent go getters, passionate about improving business performance.
Please note, the successful candidate must attend the Singleton office a minimum of 4 days a week.

Reporting through to a Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Providing a range of administrative support services including meeting and event coordination, record keeping and managing correspondence.
2. Collecting and compiling information in order to prepare documentation and correspondence.
3. Completing routine financial transactions and assisting with purchasing.
4. Responding to enquiries, ensuring an efficient, timely response and keeping the customer at the centre of all decision making.
5. Updating and maintaining records and databases to ensure all information and documentation and stored safely and is easily accessible.

To be successful in this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas & possess the below personal qualities:
6. Minimum 2 years of experience in an Administration position within a complex/busy environment.
7. Experience working within the Government sector would be highly advantageous.
8. Ability to confidently work across multiple systems and databases.
9. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
10. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
11. Excellent organisation skills and ability to stay focused in a high-volume environment.
