The Organisational Development ("OD") Chapter Area enhances organisational effectiveness and culture through our people experiences, processes, and systems.
We work across the Group to deeply understand our peoples’ lived experience and to create the change required to enable them to deliver our business strategy and purpose.
Do work that matters:
As a Chapter Lead in our OD Chapter Area, you'll develop, lead, and support a Chapter of OD leads and specialists (~8). You'll also be involved in designing and delivering key strategic culture, leadership, and people experience initiatives.
This role is crucial in shaping CommBank’s culture, empowering our people to develop the mindsets and behaviours that prioritize our customers and streamline our processes for maximum impact.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead, support and grow OD skills within the Chapter through performance coaching and development.
* Lead the design and implementation of culture and people experience initiatives to enable execution of the Group Strategy.
* Drive consistency of tooling, frameworks, and methodologies within the Chapter.
* Collaborate with Product Owners to influence performance and development and enable your chapter members to deliver innovative and impactful outcomes.
* Build credibility and trust with senior leaders and provide thought leadership, advice, and constructive challenge to drive culture, leadership, and people experience outcomes.
* Harness qualitative and quantitative data to understand culture and people experience priorities and measure impacts.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* A passion for coaching and developing others and creating a culture of high performance.
* Deep expertise in organisational culture and leadership development. Track record of leading the design and implementation of initiatives at organisational, team, and individual levels, in complex organisations. Experience could be gained in-house or through consulting.
* Proven skills in human-centred leadership, focusing on collaboration, empathy, and motivating others.
* Excellent relationship building and engagement skills. Ability to partner with leaders and stakeholders across HR and the business and influence decision making.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to leverage data to tell insightful stories.
* Strategic thinker who offers creative solutions and challenges the status quo.
* Enjoys working with complexity and paving the way forward – demonstrates agility and flexibility of thinking.
* Organisational Development or Organisational Psychology background desirable but not required.
