We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Formwork Foreman with General Foreman experience to join their team and contribute to the success of their upcoming projects.
Job Overview: As a Formwork Foreman/General Forman, you will be responsible for overseeing the formwork operations on-site for high-rise residential apartment projects.
This includes managing a team, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with other construction trades.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in formwork, experience in high-rise residential construction, and a proven ability to lead and manage teams.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the formwork team, ensuring high-quality workmanship in line with project specifications.
Oversee and ensure the correct installation of formwork systems for concrete pours on high-rise residential buildings.
Manage daily operations on-site, ensuring efficiency and adherence to project schedules.
Work closely with the Project Manager and other site supervisors to ensure smooth coordination between all trades.
Monitor and enforce strict safety standards, ensuring all site personnel adhere to company safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of formwork and scaffolding, ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality expectations.
Collaborate with other teams to resolve any issues or delays in the formwork process.
Prepare and submit daily reports on the progress of formwork, including labor and materials used.
Provide training and guidance to junior foremen and workers on formwork processes and safety.
Ensure that all materials and equipment are available and in good condition for the successful completion of tasks.
Troubleshoot any formwork-related issues and resolve them promptly to avoid delays.
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Formwork Foreman in high-rise residential construction.
Strong General Foreman experience, preferably in high-rise residential apartment projects.
Proven experience working with well-known companies in the residential construction sector.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
In-depth knowledge of formwork systems, concrete pouring, and related safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost management, and project coordination.
Valid trade qualifications (e.g., Carpentry or Formwork) would be advantageous.
Current safety certifications, including First Aid and OSHA (or equivalent).
A proactive approach to problem-solving and an eye for detail.
