We are now looking for a Contracts Manager to join our experienced team in Maryborough, QLD. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical contracts management and oversight of commercial activities within allocated projects. You will be accountable for:
1. Effective management of upstream/downstream contracts
2. Timely management of time-based delay impacts
3. Timely management of contract notices and cost based variations
4. Working alongside project managers to provide advice and ensure good governance in day to day decision making
5. Optimising commercial outcomes across projects in the Maryborough facility
6. Acting as the commercial representative for allocated projects
7. Pro-active risk and opportunity management
8. Involvement with progress claims, forecasting, financial and project reporting
This is a fulltime, permanent role, and will be based in Maryborough, QLD. We are open to supporting relocation assistance for the right applicant.

About You:
1. 8+ years demonstrated experience in contracts management
2. Previous experience in rollingstock, construction, engineering, manufacturing or other relevant industry
3. Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Law, Business Commerce, or similar
4. Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence within a complex environment
5. Strong ability to problem solve and contribute to improvements
6. Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
