As a leading educational institution, we are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment that empowers students to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.The Director of Counselling Services leads, manages, and develops Haileybury’s team of Psychologists across all campuses, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, student-focused psychological services that meet and exceed required standards.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of Psychologists, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.Provide direct psychological support to students, including individual counselling, case management, and referrals to external providers.Develop, implement, and review Student Wellbeing and counselling policies, procedures, and systems.Design and deliver proactive and preventative mental health programs to enhance student resilience and connectedness.Attend parent/teacher meetings and Pastoral Care meetings as required.Facilitate wellbeing programs and materials for the broader school community.Collaborate on student assessments and contribute to funding and special provisions applications.Provide high-level reports and data analysis to senior management, including identifying high-risk cases and tracking trends in psychological service usage.The Director of Counselling Services and the Psychologists are the School’s Child Safety and Wellbeing Officers.
